Nurturing Tech Talent – New Industrialisation and Technology Training Programme
Funding
- Maximum grant: up to HK$500,000 per enterprise in each financial year
- Mode: reimbursement. A firm may ask for part of the approved training grant in advance50% of the grant)
- Both local and non-local courses are supported
- Two types of training courses are supported:
- public courses – courses open to the public. The training institution submits the course registration
- a specially designed course – a course designed for a specific company. The course proposal should be submitted with the company’s training-grant application.
Eligibility
A training institution registering a public course must have at least two years of technology-training experience
An enterprise applying for this training grant must meet the following:
- Registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310); and
- a non-government, non-subvented organisation
The nominated employee must be a Hong Kong permanent resident and have the background or experience the advanced technology course requires.
