Funding

  1. Financial support: seed funding of up to HK$100,000
  2. Guidance: mentors point out how the plan can improve
  3. Training covers the Hong Kong start-up scene, business plans, fundraising pitches and investment plans
  4. Facilities: access to shared workspace
  5. A next step: apply to the Science Park incubation programme

Eligibility

  1. An innovative idea, a business plan and a research team, and
  2. An individual aged 18 or above who holds a Hong Kong identity card, or
  3. A limited company registered in Hong Kong for no more than two years before applications open, or
  4. Team: the applicant team must incorporate a limited company in Hong Kong before the programme starts

Application deadline

IDEATION accepts applications each January, May and September
