Funding

  • The scheme accepts research and exchange applications in food, agriculture, agri-food biotechnology, climate change and biodiversity.
  • A research project may not exceed five years, nor the length of the related Horizon Europe project
  • The maximum grant is HK$3 million for each research project and HK$500,000 for each exchange project, both excluding the additional administrative charge.

Eligibility

The Hong Kong applicant must be a partner in a project funded under the Horizon Europe 2023–24 work programme, and must meet the RGC General Research Fund eligibility rules.
