Funding
- The applicant must be a licensed Chinese herbal wholesaler or retailer in Hong Kong, an application may cover more than onefor one software or hardware improvement. Each licensed Chinese herbal wholesaler or retailer may receive up to HK$100,000. Equipment for storing Chinese herbs that improves safety or quality in handling, storage or transport may be funded at up to 80% of the actual cost. Other items are funded at 50%.
- An applicant may submit more than one application，The implementing body will give priority to the firstlater applications. The total cap for the same applicant stays the same
Eligibility
- The scheme supports parties covered by the Chinese Medicine Ordinance (Cap. 549)Holders of a Chinese herbal wholesale or retail licence issued under the Ordinance. To meet the trade’s needs, herbal retailers or wholesalers run by an individual are given priority.
- HKC products approved with conditions that must file more documents when renewingproprietary Chinese medicine products
